too bad new battery for the S4Rt

Ok...about 6 several weeks ago I purchased a brand new battery for that S4Rt. All is nice until a couple of days ago after i go to the bike and...nothing. And That I mean nothing!!! No great gauge sweep. No fuel relay priming. Nothing. Lifted the tank and checked the fuses plus they were al good and so i look into the battery current. 1 volt. Now I'd ridden the bike yesterday fer christ sake!!!!! Required automobile battery in coupled with it checked and also the shop stated it examined fine plus they re-billed it for me personally. Installed it within the bike and checked my charging system also it examined fine. a couple of days later...dead dead dead. Considered to myself, "Self....prolly a poor battery." Bought a replacement using the aim of tossing that old one with the window such as the Discount tire ad. Rode the snot from my bike with my father as they was going to and all sorts of appeared fine. You know what...three days later it had been dead too!!!!!!
Too be honest I am a wee bit pissed and perplexed.
The Poster stated that his shop billed battery and checked his charging system, it went dead a couple of days later. Doesn't condition he rode the bike throughout individuals a couple of days. Better clarification may help. And explain exactly what the charging check was.
I'd charge battery power. Install battery. Look into the current and write it lower. I Quickly would start the bike and appearance the current at idle and write it lower. I Quickly would run up to around 5,000 revoltions per minute and appearance the current and write it lower.
After doing everything, I'd go for any good ride. About 30-60 miles, but stay near to home so you do not get stranded. The moment I pull in to the garage I'd get rid of the key and appearance the current.
When the battery continues to be above 12v at that time, it isn't a charging problem.
Most likely it's a shorted wire, an easy remaining on, a security draining battery, etc..
Whether it works out to become a short, don't buy a Shorai or Ballistic. It will likely be money thrown lower a drain. You have to discover the reason first. The dry lithium batteries are thought to not be salvageable if drained below 6v. Seems like you'd ruin one within 12 hrs of shutting from the bike.
I've got a similiar trouble with my 2009 696. Bike did not start and merely demonstrated a mistake. Include a new battery and demonstrated it wasn't charging. Had the rectifier transformed and also the bike was charging once the battery was over 12v however when it went below 12 It couldnt charge enough to have it support, and today the issue reoccurred. Was told it may be the stator that is an costly part to exchange. Any advice from anybody? I'll probabaly go ahead and take bike in again after i can meanwhile I am just hooking up it to some battery tender and riding them back the tender without turning the engine off.
Installed the brand new MF car battery and appearance the current at both idle contributing to 3,000 revoltions per minute. Both occasions all set. Rode the bike everywhere so when I attempted to begin it a few days later got nothing.
