2. Examine the level. Open the cover of automobile battery, and then you can find whether the level is normal. In general, there is lower lane markings (LLM) and upper lane markings (ULM) in the side of battery for your reference. If the level is lower than the lower lane markings, you must add distilled water. But if there is no distilled water in hand, you can use the filterable tap water for emergency instead. Don't add too much, and just reach the middle between lower lane markings and upper lane markings.

3. Check whether automobile battery can be charged normally. If you use the three-purpose galvanometer to measure the voltage before starting the engine, it is normal just over 13V. If the charging voltage is too low, you need to ask the repairer to check the charging system. If you don't have the galvanometer, you can use ocular estimate: When you start the engine, open the cover and watch whether there is bubble among each grid. In the normal condition, there must be most bubbles to surface. But if nothing is found, the charging system might have some problems.
